The event recognized as “the quintessential networking event for the financing industry,” was a hit on Friday, but Crossroads Financial Golf Tournament isn’t all fun and games. Profits benefit March of Dimes, a 76-year-old organization that aids mothers in having full-term pregnancies and researches the problems that threaten the health of babies. After they register, golfers were greeted with complimentary cigars and beer shots as they made their way toward the gourmet lunch buffet. An interactive putting contest and driving practice was provided until the shotgun start to the competition at 1pm. Aside from swinging, golfers never had to be without a drink in their hand. Drink and snack carts navigated through the courses, ensuring all needs were met. Following golf was a night of networking, cocktails and
dining, an awards ceremony and silent auction.
